∎ Job Location : BRAC Head Office

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Accounting and Financial transections:
∎ Support the Senior Manager, Finance & Administration in processing accounting and financial transactions.
∎ Prepare budgets and monthly accounts reports based on information of fund inflow and outflow.
∎ Record keeping to be done as per BRAC Accounting Manual.
∎ Assist in evaluation of bids/ budgets.
∎ Assist internal and external audits providing necessary arrangement support, sharing information and documents.
∎ Partner Management Support:
∎ Prepare financial monitoring plan and conduct monitoring visits to strengthen adequate internal control, required compliances (statutory, CBF, Partner and Donor) and facilitate cross learning opportunities between CBF and its partners.
∎ Prepare finance monitoring visit report, detailing observations, findings, support and send next level for their endorsement. Facilitate debriefing between partners after each visit to discuss the challenges, findings, and ways forward/suggestions; reflect the same in the visit report.
∎ Follow up on action plan from monitoring visits and ensure accountability is fulfilled both by partner and Climate Bridge Fund (CBF) as agreed.
∎ Review and provide feedback on partner's liquidation statement, financial transactions, and books of account, policy process and internal control systems.
∎ Coordinate and ensure partners financial report submitted to Climate Bridge Fund (CBF) on time; a reporting schedule is in place and updated on regular basis and is accessible. Review partners' financial report and provide feedback to partners. Prepare quarterly financial report on summarizing the findings and challenges.
∎ Facilitate common understanding for partners to prepare/modify project budgets and track expenditure.
∎ Organize orientation/ clarification session/ joint meeting to build common understanding on donor's requirement and developing common grounds to work together on financial and administrative issues.
∎ Arrange orientation and training on partner's financial and administrative guidelines.
∎ Administrative Management :
∎ Plan and Coordinate administrative procedures and systems of Emergency Response Window (ERW).
∎ Conduct procurement by ensuring best price and source of product.
∎ Supervising the day-to-day operations of the administrative activities.
∎ Ensure the office is stocked with necessary supplies and that all equipment is working and properly maintained.
∎ Plan, Schedule and Promote office events, including meetings, conferences, interviews, orientations, and training sessions.
∎ Collect, Organise, and Store information using computers and filing systems.
∎ Monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new material with attention to budgetary constraints
∎ Safeguarding Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 6 years of experience with accounting/finance team in national/international non-government organizations. Candidates having experience in procurement process, managing partner's financial & compliance issues management and grants management will be given preference.
∎ Accounting, Budget preparation, grants management and financial reporting
∎ Competence in IT (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, SPSS, STATA etc.).
∎ Good Communication skills (Verbal and Writing) both in Bangla and English.
∎ Integrity & High standards of personal conduct.
