Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelors/Masters in Development Studies/ Business Management/ Sociology/ Commerce/ Anthropology and any other relevant subject from any recognised university with minimum 2nd division/class or equivalent GPA/CGPA in all academic examinations.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support to conduct gender-inclusive needs assessment of the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
∎ Identify female-headed MSMEs and ensure selection based on selection criteria.
∎ Conduct enterprise productivity improvement training to the enterprises to ensure higher productivity of the MSME owners.
∎ Assist to value chain analysis and value chain development of MSMEs in different sectors and support to develop market linkage of the enterprises.
∎ Ensure follow up workshops on the enterprise productivity improvement training of the selected MSMEs.
∎ Support the Sr. Field technical officer in arranging local or divisional level workshops on access to finance with financial institutions.
∎ Ensure enhanced financial accessibility of MSME owners by regular follow-up visit and with any other necessary support for business development, technical upgradation, etc.
∎ Support the MSMEs owners in ensuring a decent work environment in the workplace.
∎ Produce MIS report, progress report and other relevant reports as per project requirement and support to conduct baseline survey, impact assessment, conduct thematic study etc.
∎ Provide support in selecting a specific number of MSMEs for customised loan products and work closely with Sr. Field Technical Officer for providing necessary support as per project requirements.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 2/3 years of work experience in development sector.
∎ Candidates having work experiences in providing training especially in the SME sector and experience on value chain development, decent work environment and working with MSMEs owners of different sectors, organising meetings, workshops and seminars, etc. will get preference.
∎ Sound knowledge and understanding on market linkage in the SME sector, enterprise development, gender, decent work environment.
∎ Strong partnership development, market development, communication and networking skills.
∎ Proficiency in different computer applications.
