Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Through home to home visit identify and registration of children and adolescent for the child protection services i.e. structured PSS session and adolescent led initiatives
∎ Formation of community based child protection committee, parents and caregiver committee to ensure the child protection service to the vulnerable
∎ Through home to home visit identify and registration of community, parents and caregiver and provide session positive parenting, conduct CBCPC session and community led initiatives
∎ Ensure out-reach based child protection activities
∎ Maintain attendance and follow-up the activity with the children and adolescent regular basis
∎ Conduct monthly meeting with youth group and take proactive role to reinforce the child protection activities
∎ Build up the awareness for the children regarding the protection and self-care
∎ Develop the capacity of the Volunteer who is working inside the Multi-purpose child and adolescent centre and outside the centre
∎ Timely reporting to the relevant authority regarding the MPC activities
∎ Recording and reporting the day-to-day status of the children and the drop-in care center
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
∎ In order to successfully implement the child protection service, the field facilitator is responsible to conduct structured session on psychosocial support (PSS), community-based child protection committee (CBCPC) meeting, positive parenting session etc. and out-reach based activities including recreational support. In order to that ensuring adequate services, this position will regularly connect with the children and adolescent as well as community.
