Job Context:
∎ At the forefront of fast fashion, Pentex is a global design and manufacturing business with its headquarters in the heart of London. We have been established for over 30 years and are an expanding business with a worldwide client base.
∎ We are looking for a fabric tech assistant - ideally this person must have Sustainability Coordinator experience, fabric tech experience. Very good on attention to details and good mathematical skills and very good computer and ERP program knowledge.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ This person can also help us to create Test request forms though online portal/ follow up fabric / garments CP when needed.
∎ Follow up Fabric Recycle transfer certificates
∎ Inform the mill about which information we want to write on Recycle certificate
∎ Chase mill on certificate to receive on time
∎ Follow up mill Recycle scope certificates to get new ones on time
∎ Follow up Garments factories Recycle scope certificates to get new ones on time
∎ And if any new composition/garment type fabric going to be produced in garment factories to ask update their scope certificate based on that product
∎ Also he/she need to add new product to our scope certificate as well when new composition fabric/garment type order received
∎ Follow up garment factories for Oekotex certification to get new once on time
∎ Follow up fabric mills for Oekotex certification to get new once on time
∎ When we shipped recycle garment this person has to action garment Transfer certificate asap
∎ So this person has to chase garment invoices and shipment documents from related people or download from system or chase shipment forwarder
∎ And follow up all above with differential critical paths
Additional Requirements:
∎ Hard-worker, self-motivated individual with a hands-on approach
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication in English
∎ Confident, capable and credible with effective communication, influencing and persuasiveness skills
∎ Continuous improvement mindset with experience in apparel business.
∎ Team player with positive 'can do' attitude, solution orientated and goal driven
∎ Creating performance reports and analysing results
∎ Numerate and analytical with the ability to work with complex data sets
∎ Strong technical skills, including strong MS Excel
∎ Experience with ERP systems
∎ Experience with Process Analysis and Improvement
∎ Excellent prioritization & organization skills
