∎ Diploma in Textile Engineering
∎ Professional Degree on CAD, Pattern Design & 3D System / Diploma in Clothing Technology

∎ Age at least 35 years
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Management of all styles to progress to Fit Approval.
∎ Liaise with customers to ensure products comply with all areas of requirements.
∎ Management of all Technical information to the customer, Bangladesh Sample Room and to the Factories.
∎ Assurance that all customer admin is completed and submitted in a timely manner.
∎ Liaison with Design to ensure all samples leaving company comply with supplier fit strategy.
∎ Assessment of design samples before submission to the customer.
∎ Management of customer Portals and Web-based PLM systems (as appropriate).
∎ Close liaison with Bangladesh pattern room team.
∎ Close liaison with Bangladesh, Indonesia and Sri Lank factories.
∎ Continual drive to improve systems and ways of working.
∎ Close contact and communication with Sales team.
∎ Close liaison and communication with wider technical team.
∎ Ability to risk assess all orders. Advise on perceived testing issues.
∎ Analysis design samples for possible issues.
∎ Analysis customer and/ or sales feedback.
∎ Highly experienced in a senior technical role and experience of managing a team.
∎ Strong work ethic. Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
∎ Excellent attention to detail.
∎ Strong communication and influencing skills across all levels.
∎ Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
∎ Leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
∎ Commercially aware of new products, construction and trends.
∎ Assonate, enthusiastic, shows initiative.
∎ A strong interest and understanding of the industry, what’s happening on the high street and social media.
∎ Commercial awareness – interpreting and translating designs to meet the manufacturing capabilities.
∎ High level knowledge of garment construction, pattern cutting and fitting.
∎ Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
∎ Working knowledge of relevant software tools like CAD, ERP, PDM, WFX PLM
