Experience:
Diploma in Automobile Engineering / Mechanical Engineering from reputed institution
Strong ability to identify mechanical issues and understand their root causes.
In-depth knowledge of vehicle repair, parts, and maintenance processes.·
Familiar with service manuals, parts catalogs, and repair procedures.
Good understanding of vehicle safety standards and compliance requirements.
Quick decision-making in emergency breakdown situations.
Organizational skills to manage service schedules and documentation.
The Executive – Transportation is responsible for ensuring the mechanical reliability and operational safety of all company vehicles. The role involves identifying technical faults, performing routine and preventive maintenance, and coordinating repairs to keep the convoy in best working condition.
Perform regular inspections of company vehicles to detect mechanical or technical faults before they escalate.
Strong ability to identify mechanical issues and understand their root causes.
Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance and servicing of all vehicles.
Coordinate repairs with workshop /internal technicians or external service providers.
Ensure timely renewal and maintenance of vehicle-related documents (fitness, tax token, insurance, registration).
Maintain accurate logs and records of fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and repair history.
Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement as needed.
Provide technical support during vehicle breakdowns or emergencies.
Ensure vehicles comply with government regulations and company safety standards.
Train drivers on basic vehicle maintenance and handling practices.
Sound technical knowledge about vehicle.
Any others task assigns by management.
