Job Context:
∎ We are searching for a motivated and experienced compliance Executive/ Sr. Executive to guarantee that our business processes and transactions follow all relevant legal and internal guidelines. Your duties will include reviewing employee work, developing company policies, and responding to policy violations.
∎ The Compliance Executive/ Sr. Executive will be responsible for ensuring that the company`s operations and policies comply with all relevant laws, regulations and ethical standards. The role involves designing and implementing compliance processes, carrying out audits, assessing compliance risks and training employees on compliance matters. The Compliance Executive will collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate the company`s practices, procedures and systems in order to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to senior management.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Monitor all social compliance issues of all facilities.
∎ Prepare internal audit schedule and plan and conduct internal audit in all factories as per Bangladesh Labor Law, Buyer social COC and other Certification audit standard and make reports regarding compliance operations and progress.
∎ Prepare management reports regarding compliance operations and progress.
∎ Report violations of compliance or regulatory standards to duly authorized enforcement agencies as appropriate or required.
∎ Verify that all policies and procedures have been documented, implemented, and communicated.
∎ To implement Bangladesh Labor Law 2006 including amendments, Service Labor Rules 2015, Fire prevention and Fire Fighting Law, Factory act and other required Law applicable In the RMG sector.
∎ Floor visit and find out compliance related problem then solve through proper way. To collect and post compliance related sign, risk assessment and compliance Equipment.
∎ Arrange internal audit. Prepare company objective, rules & regulations as per local laws and buyer code of conduct.
∎ Candidate should have to clear knowledge of BSCI, WRAP, Sedex, GOTS, OCS, GRS, C-TPAT, Higg, Better work, SLCP, Step by Oeko-Tex, Oekotex, RSC, Technical audit and fill up of SAQ. Prepare audit Corrective action plan. Maintain compliance related register and send report to proper authority.
∎ Arrange Fire drill (Day & night), Evacuation drill and fire training. Follow up firefighting, rescue and First-aid team. Schedule checkup safety equipment etc.
∎ To arrange and conduct training and meeting. All the activities of forming different committees.
∎ To approve new licenses, license renewals, Drinking Water Test, Waste Water Test, Machine calibration from proper concern.
∎ To draft different kinds of agreement, official letter, declaration letter.
∎ Must have Sound knowledge on SEDEX, BSCI, GRS, OCS, GOTS,,RSC, HIGG INDEX & Bangladesh Labor Law 2006 & ILO
