Experience:

• Bachelor degree in any discipline
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Eng & Production

• Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines from a reputed university: Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE)/ Textile Engineering (Major in Dyeing).

• 2 to 4 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments

• 2–4 years of experience in Industrial Engineering (preferably in Dyeing Unit)

• Practical knowledge in IE tools (LEAN, KAIZEN, 5S, SMED) etc.

• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and basic IE software.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work in a team under pressure.

Industrial Engineering Department (Dyeing Unit)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct time and motion studies for batch and continuous dyeing processes (e.g., soft flow, air flow, jet dyeing).

• Analyze machine capacity and utilization (e.g., dyeing machines, hydro extractors, dryers, compactors).

• Optimize process flow and batch planning for different fabric types and dyeing recipes.

• Develop and monitor Standard Time (SAM) for each dyeing process based on fabric type (Single Jersey, Spandex blends).

• Support resource planning (machine, manpower, utilities) to meet production targets.

• Collaborate with production and lab teams to reduce dyeing cycle time and re-dyeing rates.

• Implement and track lean manufacturing techniques (e.g., waste reduction, water/energy saving).

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as machine efficiency, right-first-time (RFT), and on-time delivery (OTD).

• Work with maintenance and quality teams to improve process stability and minimize downtime.

• Assist in costing analysis for labor and utility consumption per kg of fabric processed.

• Participate in continuous improvement projects (Kaizen, Six Sigma) in the dyeing unit.
