Experience:
2–4 years of experience in Industrial Engineering (preferably in Knitting Unit)
Practical knowledge in IE tools (LEAN, KAIZEN, 5S, SMED) etc.
Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and basic IE software.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a team under pressure.
Industrial Engineering Department (Knitting Unit)
Responsibilities:
Conduct time and motion studies on knitting machines (circular, flat, warp) to set standard time (SAMs).
Monitor and analyze machine efficiency, downtime, and productivity KPIs.
Develop and implement line balancing and layout optimization for knitting areas.
Recommend and implement lean manufacturing practices to reduce waste and improve throughput.
Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to improve machine utilization and minimize breakdowns.
Conduct capacity studies and assist in planning machine allocation as per order booking.
Prepare and update daily, weekly, and monthly IE reports.
Support costing teams with accurate labor/machine cost analysis.
Work closely with QA and Production teams to ensure quality and efficiency standards.
Conduct training for operators to improve performance and compliance to methods.
