Education:
∎ Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Industrial Relations, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
∎ Minimum 3-5 years of experience in industrial relations or employee relations, preferably in relevant industries.
∎ Demonstrated experience in negotiating and implementing industrial agreements, Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, etc.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Developing and maintaining positive relationships with employees, management, and labor unions
∎ Conducting investigations into employee misconduct or violations of company policies
∎ Consults with the organization on labor laws and applicable legislation
∎ Assist other departmental managers on interpretation and administration of personnel policies and programs.
∎ Provides counsel to workers regarding company and governmental policies, regulations, and procedures.
∎ Negotiating collective bargaining deals between union and management.
∎ Develop and implement labor relations policies and procedures and negotiate collective agreements
∎ Handling Disciplinary action process in the matters like unauthorized absenteeism, negligence, insubordination, idling & wasting the time, stoppage of work, by way of verbal counselling, written counselling, cautioning, warning, suspension & termination.
∎ Handle Domestic Enquiry process
∎ Managing dispute resolutions involving unions, management, employees or government agencies, etc.
∎ Work with line managers and union leaders to handle employee complaints, settle disputes and resolve grievances.
∎ Creating awareness ‍among labor through Training and motivational programs.
∎ Ensuring HR staff is knowledgeable about union contract compliance
∎ Advising management on contract negotiations and similar management-union relations
∎ Heading monthly labor management meetings, Report writing, Documentation etc.
∎ Consulting with HR executive staff regarding personnel policies
∎ Ensure compliance with legislation such as labor law Bangladesh, Buyers COC etc.
∎ Creating and revising union contracts
∎ Preparing documentation regarding labor relations assignment.
∎ Maintain productive and good relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
