Responsibilities & Context:
- Manage sustainable certifications and oversee all types of TC processing
- Follow up on purchase orders for raw materials (cotton, fabric, yarn) from both local and international sources
- Execute annual and monthly procurement plans; monitor inventory levels and material ageing
- Maintain strong and ethical relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
- Ensure timely shipping, import, and customs clearance to meet delivery schedules
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, transporters, and C&F agents for smooth operations
- Ensure compliance with marketer and buyer certification requirements
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain an updated list of approved vendors
- Liaise with Accounts and Audit departments for timely supplier payments
- Prepare and update procurement plans for fabrics, woven yarn, and towel yarn
- Manage L/C, TT, FDD, and cheque-related payment processes
- Perform any other duties assigned by Management
