Experience:
B.Sc./Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Power or a related discipline.
2–3 years of experience in Quality, After Sales Service, Warranty, Technical Service, or Automotive Manufacturing.
Experience in the motorcycle or automotive industry is preferred.
The Executive – Market Quality is responsible for monitoring the quality performance of motorcycles, genuine spare parts, and after-sales service in the market. The role investigates field quality issues, analyzes warranty claims, coordinates root cause analysis with cross-functional teams, and supports corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve customer satisfaction and product reliability. The position works closely with dealerships, service centers, technical service, spare parts, manufacturing, suppliers, and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor field quality performance of motorcycles and genuine spare parts.
Collect, analyze, and report field failure data from dealerships and authorized service centers.
Identify recurring quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
Monitor product reliability trends and customer feedback.
Review and validate warranty claims to identify quality-related failures.
Investigate field failures and conduct root cause analysis using quality tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and Pareto Analysis.
Coordinate technical inspections of failed components.
Maintain records of warranty trends and field quality reports.
Visit dealerships and service centers to investigate customer complaints and quality concerns.
Ensure proper handling and reporting of defective parts.
Monitor the quality performance of genuine spare parts in the market.
Investigate defective spare parts returned from dealers.
Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, Service Operations, Procurement, and Product Development teams.
Participate in quality review meetings.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly Market Quality reports.
Develop dashboards for warranty trends, field failures, and quality KPIs.
Recommend actions to improve customer satisfaction and reduce warranty costs.
