Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry, Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Textile Technology, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemical Technical/Engineering
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 4 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To have a 'hands on' involvement in the day to day production loading and expediting of all works orders
∎ Ensure optimal allocation of labour within the Dyehouse
∎ Ensure that levels of absenteeism are controlled and that historical absenteeism data is analyzed and remedial action is taken in instances where abnormally high levels and or irregular patterns are detected
∎ Monitor Dyehouse productivity , efficiency and utilization figures, and ensure that achievements are in line with set targets
∎ Monitor 48 hour service, all priority orders, back orders and delayed orders using SAP and ensure that achievements are in line with set targets with shortfalls in performance addressed and action in co-ordination with the DH Manager
∎ Ensure that production is carried out in compliance with all relevant safety, health, quality and environmental management policies, SOPs and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products / services and a responsible environmental attitude
∎ Ensure Dyehouse staff and operators achieve and maintain a high level of capability through the provision of ongoing training, support and both formal and informal performance assessment and feedback
∎ Continually promote the principles of 5S housekeeping
