∎ Age 18 to 30 years
∎ Should have adequate knowledge on Terms and Conditions of L/C, Customs Tariff, vast knowledge on HS Code, Customs Duty Calculation, Knowledge of UD, SRO, Customs ACT, Bangladesh Bank Guidelines, Import Policy, Insurance, P/I, Shipping Documents, Export Sales Contract/Master L/C, and other related laws applicable for import.
∎ Must be capable of handling import clearance independently.
∎ Have sound knowledge about entire Import Procedures (including LC-BTB, Cash, Local and Foreign, TT and RTGS)
∎ Should have sound knowledge on the Import Clearing Process under L/C, TT, and FOC and dealing with Suppliers, Banks, C&F, Forwarders, and Transport providers and releasing the materials on time.
∎ Must have knowledge in English and Bangla typing at average speed.
∎ Highly efficient in computer literacy (MS Word, Sound Knowledge on advanced level Excel, PowerPoint), Computer Program and Presentation Work.
∎ Different types of Software’s (Oracle, TMS Knowledge).
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Issuance of L/C on time.
∎ Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations and the Customs Act.
∎ Individually capable to handle bank for issuance of L/C & endorse documentation (acceptance, retirement, shipping guarantee, etc.).
∎ To maintain up-to-date MIS in the Database System.
