5–8 years of hands-on experience in Poultry or Fish Feed Mill operations.
Practical knowledge of feed processing machinery and utilities.
Familiarity with PLC-based automation systems is an advantage.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work in shift operations when required.
Responsibilities & Context:
Operate, monitor, and maintain poultry/fish feed mill machinery including grinding, batching, mixing, pelleting/extrusion, cooling, and packing systems to ensure smooth and continuous production.
Ensure optimum production efficiency by monitoring process parameters, product quality, energy consumption and coordinating closely with production, quality control, and maintenance teams.
Supervise and execute preventive, routine, and breakdown maintenance for mechanical, electrical, and utility equipment to minimize downtime and ensure reliable plant operation.
Troubleshoot and support installation, commissioning, and repair of mechanical, electrical, generators, boilers, and utility systems, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Plan maintenance activities and manage spare parts availability to support uninterrupted plant operations while contributing to energy efficiency and cost control initiatives.
Prepare and submit daily production, maintenance, downtime, and performance reports, and perform any other duties assigned by management for operational excellence.
