• Experience in bridal, evening gown, or modest fashion / abaya draping.

• Knowledge of fabric fitting and body type adjustments.

We are seeking a creative and technically proficient Draping Designer to join our fashion design team at Moments, a sister concern of Standard MH Group. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in fabric draping on mannequins and the ability to transform creative concepts into production-ready garments. Candidates should demonstrate proven expertise in couture or bridal wear, supported by a strong portfolio featuring 10–20 original draped pieces. A deep understanding of pattern making, sewing finishes, and fabric behavior is essential. The role calls for exceptional attention to detail, strong teamwork, and the ability to perform under tight deadlines with a highly professional approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create original drapes using moulage technique directly on mannequin.

• Experiment with bias, asymmetric, pleated, layered, and sculptural draping styles.

• Understand and control fabric behavior (chiffon, satin, organza, georgette, jersey, etc.).

• Convert draped forms into production-ready patterns.

• Ensure clean finishing, proportion balance, and garment movement flow.

• Work efficiently within the production schedule (1–3 days per piece depending on complexity).

• Collaborate with pattern makers, sewing team, and creative director to finalize collections.

• Maintain brand confidentiality and design integrity.
