Job Context:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Procurement Executive – Trims & Accessories to join our centralized procurement team in a leading 100% export-oriented textile & garments manufacturing industry in Bangladesh. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring all types of trims and accessories required for garment production, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with buyer standards.

The position demands close coordination with internal departments (Merchandising, Production, Quality, and Stores) as well as external suppliers to maintain an uninterrupted supply chain. The candidate must have strong vendor management skills, market knowledge, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Job Responsibilities:

• Source and procure all types of trims & accessories (labels, tags, zippers, buttons, packaging materials, etc.) as per order requirements and buyer specifications.

• Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers while maintaining relationships with existing vendors to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and reliability.

• Obtain and analyze quotations from multiple suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with company procurement policies.

• Negotiate prices, lead times, payment terms, and other commercial conditions with suppliers to achieve optimal procurement outcomes.

• Issue purchase orders (POs) accurately and follow up to ensure timely delivery of goods to meet production schedules.

• Work closely with Merchandising, Production, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure the ordered materials meet required standards and specifications.

• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.

• Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and alternative sourcing opportunities to support cost-saving initiatives.

• Handle any discrepancies, quality issues, or delays with suppliers to ensure minimal disruption to production.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing practices, and relevant regulations in all procurement activities.
