Educational Requirements:
∎ Relevant academic qualification in apparel / garment design / manufacturing.
Job Context:
∎ Job Nature: Fix Term Contract Basis.
∎ Job Location: Bangladesh Dhaka Office.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead and manage the country technical services team to provide end-to-end advice and supports to Country Leader & Technical Leaders in terms of Fit, Yarn, and Quality assurance.
∎ Translate business strategy into directions/actions of the Technical Services team so as to provide solution-based advice to drive business growth.
∎ Develop and maintain a strategic working partnership with key customers and serve as a reliable and integrated technical consultant to elevate the business engagement for further penetration into customer business.
∎ Engage with respective customer technical design teams to manage the end-to-end process, including but not limited to getting fit approval, TOP approval etc.
∎ Provide market intelligence and best practice. Actively monitor and benchmark the marketplace to incorporate the latest practice to streamline and enhance our working process to achieve efficiency.
∎ Continuously enhance technical capabilities of the team so as to enhance the support provided to the business and customer.
∎ Develop and drive the implementation of a category-based initiative to enhance the product development and/or execution process.
∎ Engage in an all-new factory sourcing strategy, from providing inputs and advice on selecting new vendors up to potential onboarding to accelerate the transition process.
∎ Monitor overall development and production performance and proactively implement measures to sustain the scorecard result.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 15 years of total experience in related work scope including Quality assurance /Fit Services and Team management.
∎ Previous experience in sourcing agency and/or buying office is preferred.
∎ Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
∎ Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving in identifying trends and transforming them into insights for management review.
∎ Able to collaborate with different stakeholders in developing and implementing regional initiatives.
∎ Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Salary: Negotiable
