  • Age At least 20 years
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in apparel manufacturing, with proven experience in a Senior Manager role and strong exposure to Technical Services, Quality Management, and Operational Leadership.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English

  • Professional certification in Lean/ Six Sigma from a recognized institution would be an added advantage.

  • Experience in managing large-scale manufacturing operations and cross-functional teams

  • Strong experience working with global apparel brands and managing customer technical relationships.

  • Hands-on experience in factory setup, vendor development, sourcing strategy, and performance management.

  • Proven ability to lead strategic projects, improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance quality.

  • Strong expertise in garment technical processes including fit, yarn, fabric, embellishments, and quality assurance.

  • Ability to manage KPI frameworks, scorecards, and performance monitoring systems.

  • Project management expertise includes planning, risk assessment, budgeting, and execution.



Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context:

Lead the country Technical Services team in a global apparel sourcing organization, providing end-to-end technical advisory across fit, yarn, and quality assurance. Translate business strategies into actionable plans to support growth, while building strong partnerships with US-based specialty apparel customers as a trusted technical consultant. Drive continuous improvement through market insights, innovation, and capability building within the team. Support sourcing strategies, vendor onboarding, and monitor production performance to ensure high-quality execution and sustained business results.

Employment Status: Fixed term contract

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the country Technical Services team to deliver end-to-end advisory and support to the Country Leader and Technical Leaders in areas such as fit, yarn, and quality assurance.

  • Translate business strategies into clear directions and actionable plans for the Technical Services team, providing solution-oriented guidance to drive business growth.

  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key customers, acting as a trusted and integrated technical consultant to strengthen engagement and enable deeper penetration into customer businesses.

  • Collaborate with customer technical and design teams to manage the end-to-end development process, including but not limited to fit approvals, TOP (Top of Production) approvals, and related milestones.

  • Provide market intelligence and industry best practices by actively monitoring and benchmarking market trends, and incorporating the latest innovations to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.

  • Continuously build and strengthen the technical capabilities of the team to improve the quality of support provided to both the business and customers.

  • Develop and drive the implementation of category-based initiatives aimed at improving product development and execution processes.

  • Support new factory sourcing strategies by offering insights and recommendations on vendor selection, and facilitating onboarding to accelerate transition timelines.

  • Monitor overall development and production performance, and proactively implement improvement measures to sustain and enhance scorecard result.
