Job Context:
∎ Fix Term Contract Basis
∎ Job Location: Bangladesh Dhaka Office
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop strategies and provide direction and guidance to both internal and external partners, e.g., customers, brand technical leaders, and country merchant leaders, to minimize the risk of any RTV with major fallout through effective fabric and vendor management.
∎ Lead and manage the country technical services team to provide end-to-end advice and support to country leaders and technical leaders in terms of fit, yield, and quality assurance.
∎ Translate business strategy into directions or actions of the Technical Services team to provide solution-based advice to drive business growth.
∎ Work collaboratively with technical and merchandising leaders in MGF production countries to troubleshoot as required.
∎ Develop and implement a training strategy to drive capacity building for key vendor partners.
∎ Build an effective performance review mechanism for measuring operational excellence for both the Fit Tech organization and vendors.
∎ Engage with respective customer technical design teams to manage the end-to-end process, including but not limited to getting fit approval, TOP approval, etc.
∎ Provide market intelligence and best practices.
∎ Continuously enhance the technical capabilities of the team to enhance the support provided to the business and customers.
∎ Engage in an all-new factory sourcing strategy, from providing input and advice on selecting new vendors up to potential onboarding to accelerate the transition process.
∎ Monitor overall development and production performance and proactively implement measures to sustain the scorecard result.
Additional Requirements:
∎ A minimum of 15 years Technical and Quality Assurance Experience, including at least 10 years in a senior leadership position
∎ Experience of working with other South Asian countries.
∎ Good understanding of fabrication, production process, quality assurance, and garment tech areas
∎ Experience in both factory and buying/sourcing offices.
∎ Knowledge of apparel trim manufacturing and quality control processes. A strategic thinking and the ability to drive change
∎ Able to build effective relationships with senior executives
∎ Excellent communication and influencing skills
∎ Able to work in a fast-paced, matrix global organization.
∎ International Work Experience
∎ Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills in identifying trends and transforming them into insights for management review
∎ Able to collaborate with different stakeholders in developing and implementing regional initiatives
∎ Proficiency in spoken and written English
Salary:
∎ USD 2,450.00
