  • Experience: Minimum 10–20 years in sales, marketing, and merchandising within the textile/apparel industry.
  • Strong understanding of textile products, supply chain dynamics, and international trade.
  • Proven experience in trend analysis, product development, and client management.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.
  • Proficient in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and marketing platforms.
  • Ability to travel internationally as required.


Responsibilities & Context:

Sales Strategy & Management

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets and revenue growth.
  • Identify new business opportunities in domestic and international markets.
  • Lead sales negotiations and manage key client relationships.
  • Monitor sales KPIs, forecasts, and performance reports to ensure targets are met.

Marketing & Market Intelligence

  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to support strategic planning.
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns in line with company goals.
  • Enhance brand positioning through digital and traditional marketing channels.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and trade fairs.

Merchandising Operations

  • Oversee the end-to-end merchandising process, ensuring timely product development and delivery.
  • Work closely with design, production, and supply chain teams to align product offerings with market needs.
  • Ensure product pricing, costing, and quality standards meet client and market expectations.
  • Manage client communications, sample approvals, and order confirmations.

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of sales, marketing, and merch professionals.
  • Collaborate with R&D and production departments to develop customer-centric solutions.

Establish departmental SOPs and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
