Responsibilities & Context:
To establish contacts and hold consultations with a view to maintaining harmonious relations between the management of the factory and the workers.
To bring to the notice of the management of the factory the grievance of workers, individuals as well as collective, with a view to securing their expeditious redress.
To study and understand the point of view of the workers and to help the management and the workers to resolve their difference in the spirit of understanding and cooperation.
To watch industrial relations with the view to using his/her influence in the event of dispute arising between the management and workers and to help to bring about a settlement through mutual discussion and joint consultations.
To deal with wages and employment matters by joint consultation with the management and the workers representative body.
