1. PRODUCTION PLANNING & CONTROL
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
Ensure production targets are achieved according to customer delivery schedules.
Monitor line efficiency, productivity, and machine utilization.
Coordinate with Planning, Merchandising, and Supply Chain teams for smooth production flow.
Manage production capacity and manpower allocation.
2. MANUFACTURING OPERATIONS
Oversee Nylon, Metal, and Vislon zipper production processes.
Ensure smooth operation of weaving, dyeing, molding, assembling, and finishing sections.
Monitor production performance, downtime, and wastage.
Implement corrective actions to improve output and efficiency.
Ensure all machines and equipment are properly maintained.
3. QUALITY MANAGEMENT
Ensure zipper products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
Coordinate with QA/QC teams to reduce defects and rework.
Monitor quality KPIs and implement improvement plans.
Conduct regular production and quality reviews.
4. TEAM MANAGEMENT
Lead, train, and motivate production staff and supervisors.
Conduct performance evaluations and skill development programs.
Ensure discipline, attendance, and workforce productivity.
Develop future leaders within the production department.
5. COST & PRODUCTIVITY IMPROVEMENT
Reduce production costs through waste control and process optimization.
Implement Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement activities.
Monitor OEE, yield rate, rejection rate, and efficiency.
Analyze production data and generate management reports.
6. HEALTH, SAFETY & COMPLIANCE
Ensure compliance with factory safety regulations and labor laws.
Maintain a safe working environment.
Conduct regular safety inspections and training.
Support compliance requirements such as ISO, BSCI, SEDEX, and customer standards.
7. REPORTING & COMMUNICATION
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production reports.
Communicate with upper management regarding production performance, issues, and improvement plans.
Maintain proper documentation and production records.
