Additional Requirements:
Communication skills in both English and Bengali, verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Be able to cope with pressure, flexible, and adaptable.
Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and proactive.
Must have the knowledge of ERP systems to ensure smooth data flow.
Responsibilities & Context:
Develop & lead the team for the smooth operation of the cutting section.
Initiative to Achieve Production Target and feedback to Sewing Line as per flowing the Center Planning Plane.
Understand and maintain 100% quality & standards compliance in cutting operations and department.
Ensure fabric relaxation as per fabrics type & buyer's requirement.
Ensure Lay on time & inspection-marking and cutting the fabrics accordingly.
Prepare monthly/weekly cutting plans considering the shipment schedules with flowing the center Planning.
Strictly control on waste management by reducing cutting rejection & fabric waste.
Train the team members as required, manage, and increase efficiency.
Attend the PP meeting of each style/order and implement the guidelines mentioned for cutting.
Ensure smooth operation of the Cutting section by problem analysis, root cause identification, and problem-solving.
In case of any fabric quality issue, need to find out the root cause and solve the problem.
Keep liaison with the Planning, Merchandising Department, Production Head, Quality Manager, Dyeing and Finishing Department as required.
Ensure accurate data entry, tracking of cutting orders, inventory updates, and production reporting in ERP software.
Strictly maintain the SOP of cutting.
Any other task assigns by the Management.
