Job Context
Ahmed Group, a reputed leading figure in the textile industry of Bangladesh is looking for experienced professional for the position of DGM/AGM (Utility) for a spinning mill.
Job Responsibilities
Should have sound knowledge & experience in factory Powerhouse/Generator operation, maintenance & management for Jenbacher Gas Engine (JMS 420, JMS 320)
Should have basic knowledge on Generators, Transformers, Switch-Gear, Motors, Compressors, Inverter, Pump, Hydraulic, Conveyor, Generator Jacket water check etc.
Plan & schedule for monthly maintenance.
Handle ongoing operation of Power & Energy Division.
Co-operate to relevant department for the better productivity of the power.
Oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of gas generator units to ensure reliable and uninterrupted power supply.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans and strategies to minimize downtime and enhance the reliability of gas generator systems.
Lead a team of skilled technicians and engineers in executing maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and overhauls of gas generators.
Coordinate with procurement and inventory management teams to ensure the availability of spare parts and consumables necessary for gas generator maintenance.
Monitor key performance indicators of gas generator systems, analyze data, and implement measures to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations in all gas generator-related activities.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance shutdowns, commissioning of new equipment, and integration of gas generator systems with the utility network.
Prepare reports, budgets, and forecasts related to gas generator operations and maintenance activities.
Any other task assigned by the management.
