Job Context:
∎ We are looking for Deputy General Manager (Marketing & Merchandising) for sweater unit. It will be responsible for managing buyer inquiries, submitting price quotation, follow-up production, sending email to new buyers, manage email and generate new lead. In short, responsible to get more order from new and existing buyers and coordinating with merchandising department to complete the order. Working experience in large scale sweater garments industries to lead the marketing & merchandising full team.
∎ Job Location: Plot 141, Yarpur, Zirabo, Ashulia, Savar, Dhaka.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To develop strategies using various marketing techniques to increase product sales with repatriation of export proceed on time. Also to use marketing and visual techniques to ensure customer attraction.
∎ To support and facilitate development and implementation of marketing plans.
∎ Should be able to develop business with new market like Japan, Russia, Korea and South Americans countries.
∎ Should be able to work with Europe, USA corporate buyers.
∎ To play a significant role in long term planning, including an initiative to gear up operational excellence.
∎ To be role played as team Player/Leader of a Marketing & Merchandising Team.
∎ To deal with the buyers independently for all aspects of marketing and merchandising activities including marketing, sourcing, measurement of yarn, price quoting, negotiating, collecting orders, shipment etc.
∎ Calculation of cost & price negotiation with buyers. Follow up with buyers for the feedback of the price, sample & capacity/space booking.
∎ To keep close liaison with the buyer for all the merchandising activities like order booking, processing, order follow up & export planning etc.
∎ To make T&A (Time & Action) plan & ensuring cross check with IE & planning department to ensure on time shipment.
∎ To coordinate daily operational activities in pre-production, sample development, costing and consumption of orders.
∎ To prepare all kinds of production, samples such as PP sample, size set sample, shipment sample before dead line of buyer requirement.
∎ To arrange all submissions & approvals on time to buyer. Checking the sample quality before sending to buying house.
∎ To advise factory/production/quality team on yarn, production, quality etc. related technical issues.
∎ Responsible for processing orders independently from development to shipment, Follow up the IE & Planning/Production/Commercial team to ensure shipment moves on time.
∎ To review marketing & Merchandising team, quality teams, shipping team daily and weekly with monitoring progress and report any foreseen delays to customer.
∎ To communicate with client/customer on a regular basis to provide up-to-date info with regard to the status of production and shipment of garments.
∎ To coordinate with concerned departments/officials in the whole process (i.e., development to the approval of line review, fit pre-production, shipment samples, etc.) and ensure maintenance of records accordingly.
∎ To check availability and lead times of various yarns, fabric and accessories with suppliers as required.
∎ To ensure that production plan is prepared and maintained by the factory to meet the delivery deadlines.
∎ To ensure that day to day review is made on feedback received from team members on various issues including production status and corrective actions are taken in time.
∎ To give monthly report on sales and marketing and attend meetings of marketing and management team.

∎ Strong ability to solve the problem.
∎ Working experience in large scale knit garments industries.
∎ Knowledge in computers and software programs is typically required.
