Experience:
Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience in HR & Compliance in the RMG industry.
At least 3–5 years in a similar leadership role (AGM/DGM or higher).
Experience with LEED, ISO, or environmental compliance will be an added advantage.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple deadlines.
High integrity and professionalism.
In-depth knowledge of Bangladesh Labor Law 2006 (amended) and international compliance frameworks.
Strong leadership and people management abilities.
Proficiency in handling third-party audits and buyer compliance.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strong documentation, reporting and presentation abilities.
Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems.
Context:
The DGM - Admin, HR & Compliance will lead and manage the entire spectrum of human resource management and ensure full compliance with labor laws, buyer Codes of Conduct, international standards (BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, etc.), and social/ethical audits. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, factory leadership, and external stakeholders to maintain a compliant, productive and ethically sound working environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead HR strategy development and execution in alignment with business goals.
Oversee recruitment, talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention strategies.
Manage workforce planning, organizational structure, and manpower budgeting.
Supervise training and development programs, performance management systems (KPI-based), and employee engagement initiatives.
Implement employee grievance handling, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution in line with company policy and labor law.
Monitor attendance, leave, payroll coordination, and overall HR operations.
Ensure the factory complies with all applicable labor laws, buyer requirements, and international compliance standards (BSCI, WRAP, Accord, Alliance, SEDEX, etc.).
Maintain all documentation and records as required for buyer and third-party audits.
Coordinate and face audits independently, including CAP (Corrective Action Plan) follow-up and timely closure.
Conduct internal compliance audits and risk assessments regularly.
Implement and monitor effective policies on health & safety, anti-harassment, working hours, and environmental practices.
Collaborate with production and administrative departments to implement best practices across the factory floor.
