Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum graduate in Computer Science and Engineering/ICT by or before 2011
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Monitor infrastructure status specially servers health and apps usability.
∎ Address any issue related to server, VM, Cloud Platform, Apps, portal, tools etc either remotely or if require on site.
∎ Apply cloud (AWS, Azure, gCloud) computing skills to deploy upgrades and fixes.
∎ Maintain close liaison with data center owner and their concern technical team.
∎ Maintain close liaison with all apps providing vendor and concern Single Point of Contact (SPC) from concern apps users
∎ Implement any upcoming assignment either for introducing new services, creating new VM and migrating private to public or public to private cloud environment.
∎ Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports to infrastructure project manager as per schedule.
∎ Update and maintain server infrastructure's inventory
∎ Identify root cause, Implement and document Workarounds for Application incidents.
∎ Implement/Deployment of bug fixes, patches and tactical platform fixes to both the new and legacy parts of the platform.
∎ Handle any escalated Application related issues from Customer/Helpdesk and maintain internal collaboration with relevant teams to identify ways to troubleshoot and increase end user satisfaction.
∎ Automate deployment and monitoring where necessary.
∎ Proactively improve the system monitoring, alerting and end-to-end tests.
∎ Create, update and maintain knowledge-based articles on deployment, troubleshooting, etc. and sharing the knowledge within the team.
∎ Participate in System and Network planning to be a part of the innovative enterprise architecture for Data Center, Disaster Recovery Site, LAN, WAN, Internet and Intranet platform.
∎ Able to be involved in any out of hours on call support.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 8 years of progressive experience in software development and infrastructure management.
∎ Experience as a DevOps Engineer.
∎ Knowledge of Python will get preference.
∎ Monitoring Tools: Experience with system monitoring tools (e.g. Nagios, LibreNMS, OSTicket,
∎ SugarCRM etc).
∎ Can maintain Java, C#, Python and JS web applications. Hands on experience in Node module deployment is a plus.
∎ Hands on experience in Kubernetes will get preference.
∎ Working knowledge on MS Project.
