Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ Successfully completed a senior degree in Fashion Technology / Textile Engineering / Fashion Designing from a leading college in Bangladesh
∎ Bangladesh University of Textiles students will get preference
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Merchandising, Production Management (Knitting & Weaving), Purchase, Quality Inspection, Textile Engineering
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Garments Accessories, Textile
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Successfully hand over sampling documents to garment supplier for prototype making
∎ Actively checking prototypes, working with suppliers to ensure that prototypes meet the quality expectations of the design team in terms of color, fit
∎ Improving prototypes based on feedback from design for the Sales Man sampling stage
∎ Actively participating in the development process, clarifying worksheets, technical queries and queries on Artwork
∎ Negotiating and communicating competitive prices from Prototype to SMS
∎ Ensuring the timely dispatch of samples based on the Season Plan
∎ Female candidates are encouraged to apply.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Has a successfully completed a senior degree in Fashion Technology / Textile Engineering / Fashion Designing from a leading college in Bangladesh
∎ Has at least 5 years of experience in working with various factories / buying houses especially in T Shirts / Jersey products
∎ Demonstrates high intelligence and a willingness to learn
∎ Has good knowledge of fabrics, print and dyeing techniques
∎ Has a good sense of color and aesthetic
∎ Has a knowledge of trends and sustainability
∎ Has a good idea of benchmark pricing and costing
∎ Has an experience of directly or indirectly working with European brands
∎ Has extremely good communication skills in written and spoken English
