∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): MICROSOFT OFFICE, Must be fluent in written and verbal English, Must have sweater product experience, Pattern making, Quality Assurance/ Quality Control, Shima Seiki, Stoll
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Buying House

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Technical order follow-up of Bangladesh flat-knits (sweater) and circular-knits (cut&sew) Maintaining SOP's (Standard Operational Procedures)
∎ Defining Critical Points per style
∎ Weekly scheduling of inspections
∎ Inspection procedures; handling of problems
∎ Screen styles and main materials for anticipated manufacturing problems and communicate with Merchandising Team and supplier
∎ Review all worksheets / trim sheets / sample comments / approved fabric and art works
∎ Making sure that all technical questions/problems are communicated with relevant parties and solved timely
∎ Direct communication with technical counterparts in offices and headquarters
∎ Monitoring closely critical styles and manufacturing processes
∎ Review critical styles and problems with QA in charge during weekly meeting
∎ Inform during weekly meetings the SMS / Bulk Production status to QA in charge
∎ Technical follow-up from sample stage until final bulk inspection (Proto / First SMS / Balance SMS / Pilot / in-line / Production Samples / Pre-Final / Final)
∎ Inspections: Measurement control / dummy check / visual inspection for sampling and bulk production milestones as defined
∎ Communicating all inspection results verbal and in written format to supplier and Gerry Weber Merchandising team
∎ Report on weekly basis the quality status of running bulk production
∎ Up-date PDM & CM systems for relevant attributes.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 20 years
∎ Deep knowledge in garment construction (flatknits+cutsew)
∎ Thorough understanding of different fiber and yarn qualities
∎ Flat knits machine programming
∎ Writing/drafting needle notations
∎ Knowledge in knitting structures
