Responsibilities & Context:
Fit & Pattern Control: Lead fit sessions, approve samples, and correct patterns for optimal drape and balance.
Tech Pack Ownership: Create and release production-ready tech packs, standard size charts, and detailed BOMs.
Factory Troubleshooting: Partner with vendors to resolve manufacturing bottlenecks and bulk production quality issues.
Cost Engineering: Re-engineer garment construction to meet target profit margins without losing design intent.
Digital Prototyping: Drive the use of 3D sampling (Clo3D/Browzwear) to reduce physical sample cycles.
Team Leadership: Manage technical design timelines and mentor junior pattern makers and technicians.
