Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Supports and contributes to the implementation of child protection intervention e.g. adolescent, psychosocial support, case management, CBCPC, community engagement activities and coordination
∎ Supportive supervision, guidance and technical input to the staff to effectively perform the duties and achieve the objective of child protection programme which contribute a quality programme
∎ Provide support in the design, development and implementation of innovative, effective, context appropriate child protection programming
∎ Provide support to project team to ensure that best practices for child protection services and service integration are well documented, evaluated and poised for scale up
∎ In collaboration with agency/ partners and community leaders, develop selection criteria of appropriate child protection programme intervention to engage them in appropriate child protection services e.g. structured PSS, life skill curriculum sessions etc.
∎ Support development and scale up of efforts to achieve gender responsive adolescent friendly gender service provision at facility level as well as community-level. Ensure quality of care for Adolescent services through ongoing monitoring and evaluation
∎ Development different tools and template on the programme and lead the different programmatic group e.g. adolescent clubs, CBCPC, case management etc.
∎ Regular field visit and monitoring the situation to acquire the field demand and reflect it into the programme
∎ Collect different reports from the field and develop action plan with budget following tranche wise approved budget and other documents and send those to respective authority in time
∎ Keeping Liaison with different sector of HCMP, others departments of BRAC, national and International NGOs and GO specially CiC office
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so
∎ This position is responsible for successfully implement the child protection activities in the field of HCMP, the Deputy Project Manager is responsible for Supports and contributes to implementation, planning, developing guideline on relevant programme, provide assistant & guidance to the staff, attending different meeting including sector meeting, strengthening the capacity of the staff, maintaining the liaison with different sector of the Humanitarian Crisis Management Program and others Non-Government & Government organizations, and preparing different report and budget. Maintaining effective communication with project manager and provide assistant to the project.
