Job Responsibilities:
∎ To contribute implementing UCEP Bangladesh's values, vision, mission and goals, and development of future strategy documents as needed.
∎ To contribute to plan, implement and manage HR functions of the organization.
∎ To assist in reviewing and recommending necessary changes in HR related policies and guidelines.
∎ To contribute to ensure effective implementation of HR policies and guidelines throughout the organization.
∎ To assist in implementation of organizational policies and guidelines related to HR.
∎ To contribute for taking appropriate and timely actions in response to any non-compliance issue related to any policy of the organization.
∎ To assist in preparing staffing plan for different projects and functions for UCEP Bangladesh including its other entities.
∎ To contribute to manage all recruitment related activities as per organizational need and to ensure that all relevant employment procedures are correctly and timely followed.
∎ To contribute to plan and implement induction programs which includes orientation on UCEP strategies and relevant policies for new recruits and to arrange refresher session for existing employees as and when required.
∎ To contribute to review and update of Job Descriptions as and when necessary by engaging relevant personnel.
∎ To contribute to manage the Performance Management System including i) KPI setting, ii) PAF modification as per KPI, iii) Performance Agreements, iv) Performance review (half-yearly & year-end) and v) Review-based actions and implementation of decisions (ranking, increment, PIP, etc.).
∎ To contribute to ensure documentation of the Performance Management Process in hard copies and in digital forms.
∎ To contribute to monitor the contract cycle of all employees and ensure timely renewal/discontinuation of job-contracts.
∎ To contribute to conduct training need assessment as well as to coordinate with program and other functions for preparing a yearly training calendar and to monitor as well as report about implementation of the training plan.
∎ To contribute to develop leadership and career development plans and ensure implementation.
∎ To assist in regional capacity development.
∎ To manage necessary HR related operations including Leave, Employee Attendance, Transfer, Grievance and Separation.
∎ To coordinate with Finance and Accounts for Employee Payroll and Benefits payout.
∎ To contribute to manage Human Resource Management System (HRMS).
∎ To coordinate with ICT & Business Solutions Department, and Finance and Accounts Department for effective implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) related to HR functions.
∎ To assist in coordinating and managing individual and institutional consultants as and when required.
∎ To contribute to ensure quality and timeliness of HR related purchases.
∎ To contribute to develop and efficiently manage departmental budget.
∎ To contribute to plan & organize various team-building activities and other events.
∎ To contribute to develop and manage a functional automated filing system.
∎ To contribute to ensure proper management of work related foreign travels for staff and ensure necessary government approval.
∎ To provide necessary guidance and capacity building support to direct and indirect supervisees.
∎ To contribute to prepare, ensure implementation, review and report progress of HR business goals.
∎ Promote and contribute to ongoing efforts towards gender equity & equality, child/staff protection & safeguard, inclusiveness, accessibility and discrimination free environment in the workplace and operations/activities/plans. In applicable cases, ensure that necessary budget allocation is there and in KPIs these issues are reflected regarding employees under supervision.
∎ To maintain strict confidentiality of information, documents and other internal and external communications.
∎ To carry out any other relevant tasks assigned by the authority as and when necessary.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 4 years of relevant professional experience in the field of HR, of which at least 1 years at mid level managerial role in a large organization.
∎ Excellent fluency both in Bangla and English.
∎ Excellent computer operating skills, including MS Office packages, latest HR related software and tools.
∎ Self-motivated, adaptable, team player and passion for social development works.
∎ Ability and willingness to travel.
∎ Age limit for the applicant would be 35 years. Management has the right to make exceptions based on qualifications.
