Operations & Process Optimization
SOP Implementation:
Develop, establish, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all stages of footwear production (cutting, stitching, lasting, assembly, and finishing).
Bottleneck Elimination: Continuously monitor production workflows to detect and resolve system losses, downtime, and operational bottlenecks, driving higher efficiency and throughput.
Continuous Improvement: Lead problem-solving initiatives using structured frameworks (e.g., Lean, Kaizen) to streamline production, reduce cycle times, and optimize workflow.
Production Planning & Machine Scheduling
Execution & Supervision:
Plan, direct, and oversee daily footwear manufacturing activities to meet output targets without compromising on safety or product quality.
Capacity & Machine Scheduling: Create precise machine and line schedules across cutting, molding, lasting, and soling operations (EVA, PU, Rubber injection/molding).
Maintenance Coordination: Work closely with the maintenance team to execute preventive equipment maintenance, minimizing machine downtime and unexpected breakdowns.
Material & Inventory Management
Inventory Control: Lead production-side inventory planning for both raw materials (leathers, synthetics, compounds, hardware) and finished footwear.
Wastage Reduction: Track material utilization rates to minimize scrap, off-cuts, and chemical/compound wastage during cutting, soling, and lasting processes.
Quality Control & Compliance
Quality Assurance: Partner with Quality Control (QC) teams to enforce defect-prevention measures, ensuring every unit meets customer specifications and internal standards.
Compliance: Maintain a safe, compliant, and ergonomic work environment in accordance with industry safety standards and labor regulations.
Workforce Leadership & Team Management
Manpower Planning:
Optimally allocate labor across lines to align skills with specific assembly or stitching requirements, ensuring consistent daily output.
Team Development:
Train, mentor, and evaluate supervisors, line leaders, and machine operators to foster a high-performance, quality-focused team culture.
