Experience:
Certification or training in Inventory Management, Supply Chain, or Store Management will be preferred.
Training on ERP/Inventory Software Management will be an added advantage.
Good reporting and documentation skills.
Ability to manage and lead store teams effectively.
Sound understanding of buyer compliance and audit requirements.
Strong practical knowledge of 5S methodology (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) for effective store management and housekeeping control.
Clear understanding and implementation of Kanban System for smooth material replenishment and avoiding stock-out situations.
Sound knowledge of FIFO (First In First Out) for fabric and accessories issue to prevent shade variation, damage, and aging stock.
Understanding of LIFO (Last In First Out) inventory method where applicable for financial and stock valuation purposes.
Ability to implement Lean Inventory Control System to minimize waste and excess stock.
Experience in conducting physical inventory, cycle count, and stock reconciliation.
Knowledge of ABC Analysis & Stock Aging Report preparation.
Clear understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations in RMG industry.
Understanding of warehouse layout optimization and material handling best practices.
Oversee and manage the overall store operations including fabrics, accessories, and general items.
Ensure proper receiving of fabrics and accessories as per approved PO, style, buyer requirement, challan, and packing list.
Conduct item-wise and quality-wise inspection of all received materials.
Segregate rejected or damaged materials and ensure timely return and replacement with proper documentation.
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure 100% ERP/software posting of receipts, issues, returns, and deliveries.
Issue materials to production, cutting floor, sampling section, and subcontract units as per approved production plan.
Monitor in-house material status before production start and report shortages or discrepancies to Merchandising and Management.
Coordinate closely with Merchandising, Production, Planning, Commercial, CNF, and Supply Chain departments for smooth material flow.
Follow up subcontracted goods and ensure proper return, adjustment, and reconciliation.
Maintain in-out registers, returnable and non-returnable challans, and style-wise/PO-wise documentation for audit and compliance.
Ensure proper storage and control of fabrics, lining, pocketing, contrast, and accessories as per buyer, style, and color.
Prepare shipment-wise closing reports and monthly export/shipment status summaries.
Supervise store staff and ensure discipline, safety, housekeeping, and efficient store administration.
Ensure full compliance with company policies, buyer requirements, and audit standards.
Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by management.
