Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidate should have Graduation/ Masters in Dairy Science/ Food Technology/ Food Engineering/ Applied Chemistry/ Microbiology with minimum CGPA 2.50 or 2nd division/ class or equivalent result in all academic examinations from any recognized institution
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 6 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Chemist/ Bio-Chemist, Food Production, food Safety, Milk and Milk based processed food production, Product Development, Quality Assurance or Quality Control.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Dairy, Food (Packaged)/Beverage
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Set quality compliance objective and ensuring the implementation of all standards as per ISO 22000:5000 and other regulatory requirements.
∎ Conduct validation and verification of all manufacturing process.
∎ Interact with manufacturing team and other cross functional team for process improvements, cost reductions and transition of new products and processes.
∎ Interact with sales and marketing team for capturing voice of customers and giving the team standard or customized solution according to customer’s need.
∎ Identify the training needs for respective teams on product knowledge and execute those training according to the requirements of team.
∎ Empower & increase the competency level of all manufacturing team about the product quality, food safety, handling and importance of cold chain
∎ Encourage and motivate the team members to work with great enthusiasm
∎ Supervise & well manage the technical staff as per their skill & abilities to carry out all sorts of tests & technical support to maintain high degree of product quality
∎ Conduct departmental annual budget
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any accidents, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
Additional Requirements:
∎ ISO 22000 (FSSC) Internal auditor certificate holder will be given preference.
∎ He/ She should have knowledge on Food Safety Management System, GMP, Statgraphics, SAS
∎ He/ She should have excellent oral & written communication skills, negotiation skill, report writing, documentation & presentation skill,
∎ He/ Should be skilled in time management, computer application like MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point
∎ He/ She should have ability to solve problem, work under challenging environment, capable of relationship building and must be a team player
