• Age 25 to 33 years

The major responsibility of an Asst. Chemist to perform precise lab analysis of raw material and finished product of the plant to produce optimum quality of cement. He also to assists in developing standard operating procedures for physical and chemical analysis. Participate in root cause analysis and problem solving on quality issues:

COMMON-OPERATIONS:

• Ensure quality of cement–production meet the ASTM, EN (BSTI) & BIS standard, chemical & physical compositions from the raw materials test to be done and reported to HOD.
• Ensure to collect “correct & on time cement sample” from mills & packing plants, and raw materials from conveyer belt of jetty / truck after completion of discharge.
• Communicating with control room operators (Sub Asst. Engineer-Production) as regular basis for maintaining fineness & residue of cement grinding.
• Ensure strength (normality / morality) of chemical solution & reagent.
• Measure to ensure correct proportioning of additives on regular basis to maintain cement quality.
• In time crush the cube & mortar for cement compressive strength.
• Ensure the major parameter of quality which are involving with compressive strength such as fineness, residue, setting time, additives, CaO, SO3 etc. for achieving internal quality target parameters.
• Check out mill circulation load, Axial sample test etc. if necessary or advised by HOD.
• Supervise Sampler on their activities & responsibilities are performing correct and proactive manner.
• Ensure quality of raw materials, by grinding cement in lab’s mini-ball mill, in different or advised percentages use.
• Ensure packing is properly locked when different brand is ready to pack.
• Ensure the quality of empty cement bag (Paper & Poly).
• Perform duties in a safety conscience manner in the workplace and promote safety for coworker.
