Job Context:

Meghna PVC Ltd. (MPVCL) is the sister concern of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI). This chemical unit is engaged in the production of PVC/PET Resin. We are currently looking for highly motivated, honest, proactive and energetic individual for the position of Assistant Engineer / Engineer in our Chemical Plant. The position will be responsible for handling day-to-day operations and will report to the Department Head.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate and manage chemical processes using DCS to ensure smooth start-up and shutdown, minimizing disruptions.

• Operate, control, and maintain production activities to ensure quality output while adhering to safety protocols.

• Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve plant abnormalities to ensure continuous operations.

• Optimize processes in assigned areas to improve efficiency and drive continuous improvement.

• Monitor operational parameters to detect issues early and apply appropriate troubleshooting measures.

• Support problem-solving efforts with the production team and maintain accurate operational records, including log sheets and the operational logbook.

• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of chemicals used in the plant to ensure regulatory compliance and safe handling.

• Oversee production activities to ensure compliance with manufacturing technologies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with the laboratory team to conduct chemical analyses and assist in planning experiments for process validation and improvement.

• Conduct tests, analyses, and evaluations on material samples to generate reports that support technical decision-making.
