Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in Economics/ Statistics/ Social Science/ Public Heath from any recognised university with minimum all second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA 2.50 in all academic examinations.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Independently design research studies, which includes- sample size calculation, development of data collection tools, data analysis, data interpretation and report writing
∎ Develop and update M&E tools, guidance and work plan in consultation with the supervisor, conduct monitoring related quality assurance, tracking of project outputs and outcome and performance of the field workforce
∎ Train and supervise the team related to conducting research
∎ Lead development of and provide insight to all research related activities
∎ Ensure that findings from all monitoring, assessment and survey activities are disseminated to the Programme Management Team for continuous program quality improvement
∎ Participate in programmatic meetings, prepare and present monitoring findings at all levels and provide support to achieve target and quality assurance of programme
∎ Conduct Data Quality Assurance over collected data before analysis
∎ Assist in delivering MIS, data analysis, budget tracking and preparing
∎ Extract operational quality insights from monitoring studies for Programme Quality improvement recommendations
∎ Feed latest developments in Programme Quality monitoring into the unit for up-to-date monitoring methodologies
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 2 years of experience in the M&E, QA and research
∎ Have knowledge on developing monitoring tools and guideline
∎ Have knowledge on health sector of the country
∎ Understanding on research methodologies
∎ Well conversed in using MS Office package
∎ Proficiency in using SPSS/ R/ SAS
∎ Familiarity with KOBO and other digitized data collection tools
∎ Have competency on Data Quality Assurance, Research Design and budgeting and action research and team management
