Experience:

• 14 to 17 years

• Diploma in Power
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Power, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

• 14 to 17 years

• Age At least 30 years

• 15+ years of experience in managing generator operations in an industrial or manufacturing environment, with specific experience in spinning or textile factories being a plus.
• Hands-on experience with diesel generators and power management systems.
• Strong organizational skills, including ability to prioritize.
• Proficient in generator operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, fuel management, and safety regulations.
• Familiarity with energy efficiency strategies for industrial settings.
• Availability to work during off-hours or weekends in case of emergency repairs or maintenance is essential.
• Good Leadership
• Good MS Office & Emailing skill.

• Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and management of the power generation systems in the factory.
• Ensure the continuous and efficient operation of generators to supply power for factory operations.
• Oversee regular maintenance, servicing, and testing of generators and associated equipment (e.g., fuel systems, alternators, and control panels).
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize breakdowns and production delays.
• Troubleshoot and repair any generator-related problems promptly to avoid production interruptions.
• Monitor energy consumption and generator performance, ensuring that the power supply meets production demands.
• Collaborate with production managers to optimize generator usage and reduce fuel consumption and energy costs.
• Keep track of fuel levels and arrange for timely fuel delivery to ensure uninterrupted generator operation.
• Lead and supervise a team of generator technicians and electricians.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training to ensure the team follows best practices in generator operation and safety.
• Provide guidance on troubleshooting techniques and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Ensure that all generator operations comply with safety regulations and standards in the spinning factory.
• Conduct safety checks and inspections of power generation equipment to prevent hazards.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols related to working with power generators and high-voltage systems.
• Maintain environmental compliance, particularly with regard to fuel handling, emissions, and waste management.
• Develop and implement contingency plans for emergency situations, such as power outages or generator malfunctions.
• Respond to generator failures quickly to minimize production downtime.
• Maintain a stock of critical spare parts and supplies to enable immediate repairs.
• Use generator control and monitoring systems to track performance, fuel usage, and operational data.
• Prepare reports on generator performance, maintenance activities, and fuel consumption for management review.
• Analyze trends in generator efficiency and recommend improvements or upgrades as necessary.
• Manage the budget for generator operations, including fuel costs, maintenance expenses, and spare parts inventory.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining the reliability and efficiency of the power supply.
