Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Plan, direct, and coordinate day-to-day leather production activities.
∎ Ensure production targets are met in terms of quantity, quality, and delivery timelines.
∎ Oversee quality control measures throughout the production cycle.
∎ Manage and lead the production and operations teams, including supervisors, machine operators, and factory workers.
∎ Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of raw materials (leather, chemicals, dyes, etc.).
∎ Manage operational costs by optimizing resources and processes.
∎ Analyze and improve production workflows to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
∎ Provide regular reports on production performance, operational costs, and factory output.
∎ Use production data to track trends and inform decision-making.
∎ Report any issues or delays to senior management and suggest solutions.
∎ Work closely with the design and product development teams to create samples based on customer requirements.
∎ Oversee the entire sampling process, ensuring timely execution and delivery of prototypes.
∎ Act as a primary contact for clients regarding product requirements, specifications, and orders.
∎ Manage the merchandising process from order receipt to delivery.
