Experience:
Bachelor’s in Textile Engineering/ Marketing
Master of Business Administration or a related field.
At least 10 years’ overall proven experience in merchandising (Apparel & Textile).
Minimum 03 years’ experience in merchandising managerial role with similar capacity (US $20 – 40M).
Strong understanding of buy strategies & lead times.
Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven planning & feedbacks.
Excellent communication & negotiation, with customer/ supplier relationship in skills.
A collaborative, cross-functional approach to establish merchandising strategies.
Job Context:
We are currently hiring a Deputy Manager/ Manager, Merchandising, who will be responsible for driving a merchandising strategies that ensures excellence of execution and profitability, while building a long-term collaboration with Brand Partners, Internal Teams, and External Suppliers while maintaining the on time delivery, and expected quality level.
Job Responsibilities:
Garments costing, cost options, cost effective methods, corresponding & dealing with foreign buyers independently, from inquiry up to shipments.
Taking care of merchandising and marketing functions including sampling, fit & pre-production approvals, fabric & accessories approvals, in house or 3rd party testing, LD/Bulk approvals in a timely manner.
Monitoring the subordinates to ensure the PO Entry, Yarn Booking, Greige Booking, all kind of Accessories Booking. As well as, Trims & Fabric Inventory, in order to support factory to manage production smoothly.
Analyzing the market trends and buyer requirements / opportunities, and developing creative and innovative products by liaise with internal design, and innovation team.
Developing and managing Merchandising Annual Budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources to drive sales and capacities in order to meet financial goals of the company.
Taking the ownership and liaise with leadership teams on various EPM improvement projects nominated by the company.
Conducting regular meetings once a week with the Production/ Planning Departments to make sure the smooth production and shipments.
Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams, including Product Development, Planning, Quality Teams to align merchandising strategies with overall business objectives.
