Skills Required:

  • At least 10 years’ overall proven experience in merchandising (Apparel & Textile).

  • Minimum 03 years’ experience in merchandising managerial role with similar capacity (US $20 – 40M).

  • Strong understanding of buy strategies & lead times.

  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills.

  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven planning & feedbacks.

  • Excellent communication & negotiation, with customer/ supplier relationship in skills.

  • A collaborative, cross-functional approach to establish merchandising strategies.



Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context:

We are currently hiring a Deputy Manager/ Manager, Merchandising, who will be responsible for driving a merchandising strategies that ensures excellence of execution and profitability, while building a long-term collaboration with Brand Partners, Internal Teams, and External Suppliers while maintaining the on time delivery, and expected quality level.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Garments costing, cost options, cost effective methods, corresponding & dealing with foreign buyers independently, from inquiry up to shipments.

  • Taking care of merchandising and marketing functions including sampling, fit & pre-production approvals, fabric & accessories approvals, in house or 3rd party testing, LD/Bulk approvals in a timely manner.

  • Monitoring the subordinates to ensure the PO Entry, Yarn Booking, Greige Booking, all kind of Accessories Booking. As well as, Trims & Fabric Inventory, in order to support factory to manage production smoothly.

  • Analyzing the market trends and buyer requirements / opportunities, and developing creative and innovative products by liaise with internal design, and innovation team.

  • Developing and managing Merchandising Annual Budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources to drive sales and capacities in order to meet financial goals of the company.

  • Taking the ownership and liaise with leadership teams on various EPM improvement projects nominated by the company.

  • Conducting regular meetings once a week with the Production/ Planning Departments to make sure the smooth production and shipments.

  • Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams, including Product Development, Planning, Quality Teams to align merchandising strategies with overall business objectives.
