Job Responsibilities:
∎ Understand the project and its activities, gather information through field visits and other means, document the relevant information and provide inputs where applicable
∎ Contributing to the development of various materials for documenting the programme activities, achieved results, challenges faced, strategies that worked and didn't work for both internal & external audiences
∎ Preparing articles, blogs, case studies, etc. for both internal use and to be published in various platforms
∎ Contribute in developing external and internal reports
∎ Assist in developing concept note and project proposals in collaboration with team members
∎ Coordination & collaboration with the BRAC's communications unit
∎ Knowledge sharing and transfer on the project within and outside of BRAC
∎ Any other responsibilities related to knowledge and information gathering and management, assigned by supervisor and senior management
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ Knowledge on monitoring, report writing, presentation preparation, and safeguarding
∎ Knowledge on people management, multiculturalism, ethics and supervision
∎ Have management and leadership quality
∎ Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders in a sensitive environment
∎ Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills both in Bengali and English
∎ Have computer skills with all Microsoft Office programs (MS Word, Power Point, and Excel)
∎ Excellent influencing, negotiating and communication skills
∎ Excellent organization, and coordination skills
∎ Demonstrated ability to think technically, prioritize and meet deadlines in a challenging environment; must be culturally sensitive
∎ Ability to operate in a complex organization, across functions and work on own initiative and collaboratively as part of diverse teams
