∎ Minimum 03 years’ experience in the relevant fields. Preferable in knowledge management/communication/social media campaign/advocacy event management/briefing note with media/video documentary/graphic design.
∎ Fluency in English or Bangla (both oral and written) is required.

∎ The position will implement the Disaster Risk Management communication strategy primarily for the knowledge management team and more broadly for the BRAC. To achieve programmatic priorities, s/he will responsible for designing and developing communication materials, knowledge products, photography, video documentary, social media campaign, media communication and advocacy event management and ensure timely dissemination of information in national and global platforms.
∎ Design, develop and coordinate the production of communication materials; such as posters, info card, newsletter, brochures, fact sheets, press briefs, case stories, booklet, video documentary and others as required.
∎ Produce web and social media contents for programs and BRAC; such as Facebook, You-tube, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, search engine, blogs, apps and email.
∎ Communicate and liaise with media; organising media outreach; arranges all media contacts, press briefings, and interviews; TV show, and others.
∎ Develop policy brief and disseminate experiences and learning in collaboration with the advocacy forums and multi stakeholders’ platforms.
∎ Assist emergency response team during emergency communication to ensure the flow of information and detection of people at risk through create geotagging and hash tags.
∎ Assist team with necessary information for proposal writing, donor reporting and project completion report.
∎ Develop incident-based situation report based on disaster impacts.
∎ Capture photos and videos, and develop script and creative content for communication and knowledge products development.
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
