Job Context:
∎ Location: Head Office
∎ JOB PURPOSE:
∎ Internal audit services for construction related special audit service as well as process based audit with an advisory role.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Operational and reporting activities:
∎ Conduction of risked based audit as per monthly audit schedule for construction projects of BRAC.
∎ Lead audit team during critical audit assignments in field and head office level and report constructionaudit observations in constructive / business perspective manner.
∎ Review the project commencement process - requisition for the work, approval of budget, allocation of manpower and mobilization, work planning etc.
∎ Review the requisition from Project site and check with approved materials estimation to justify the requirements.
∎ Review readiness of project office regarding the supply of materials prior to supply.
∎ Review the control to ensure the quality & quantity of materials after supply
∎ Review the communication with BPD and project site for collection of quotation, quality checking, quotation opening etc.
∎ Review supply of materials on scheduled time and verification of all supply related documents.
∎ Review the adequacy of safety for construction staff from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment.
∎ Review construction records at various construction sites to ensure inspections by others are completed and properly documented.
∎ Perform construction inspections to ensure construction is in accordance with the Design Drawings, Specifications and applicable Construction Codes.
∎ Ensure quality reporting in stipulated time in line with the standard guideline.
∎ Drive the risk assessments in line with risk management framework to identify the critical business / programme areas in field level.
∎ Ensuring preservation of sufficient and appropriate documentation against audit findings.
∎ Assist in preparation of documents for Internal Audit Review Management Committee Meetings.
∎ Updated the audit program based on management expectation and regular risk assessment process in the changed environment.
∎ Communication and team building:
∎ Communicate with different zone, division and section within the department for successfully implementation of annual audit plan.
∎ Maintain regular co-ordination with Programmes and other department as part of advisory services.
∎ Exchange views and satisfy queries of junior audit staffs and supervisor for smooth operation of IAD.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 4 years of working experience in Audit/Compliance/Accounts/Finance/Laws and Regulations or relevant field.
