Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure detailed analysis of financial statements for the FCDO-funded EMDC project to check if actual expenditures are in line with the budget. Check for any corrections that might be needed in consultation with seniors.
∎ Prepare budget variance reports with useful analysis for senior management to help make decisions and track project expenditures. Check all types of local purchase budgets, cash requisitions and other approval items of all components from concerned authorities and return these to the field offices.
∎ Prepare the yearly budget for the EMDC project and make any necessary revisions following senior guidance. Work with Finance and Accounts to finalize the budget.
∎ Support the project team in preparing financial reports, budget forecasts, analysis of value for money (VFM), any financial or commercial gain during procurement, asset register, etc. for donor reporting and guide the project with financial tracking and analysis.
∎ Work with Finance & Accounts, other relevant department(s), and the project team to prepare the FD-6 budget & ensure timely submission of the FD-6 form along with the project completion reports and certificates for NGO Affair Bureau's approval.
∎ Support the project team to communicate with the internal audit team for audit findings, prepare analytical reports & share the report with the team and stakeholders.
∎ Work with the Procurement Department and Finance and Accounts to develop an annual procurement plan, finalize the required budget, confirm requisition for relevant procurements, ensure quality and timely distribution of the goods/ services and update the register of assets properly.
∎ Store and maintain EMDC project documents with confidentiality, take different types of approval from management, and disseminate them timely with field offices. Ensure production and maintenance of up-to-date and accurate administrative records and reports including an organized filing system.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.

Generate comprehensive financial reports for donors, support audit processes, and address administrative matters. Provide actionable recommendations to BEP management for informed decision-making.
