Job Responsibilities:
∎ Keep up to date on and contribute to global development and current affairs conversations, including maintaining an in-depth understanding of BRAC's activities globally.
∎ Lead programmes and project staff to develop slogans and messages that can be used across all communication materials.
∎ Develop a comprehensive understanding of the history of BRAC and the role of each BRAC entity.
∎ Work with the content creation team to explore new storytelling methods and develop innovative, compelling multimedia products
∎ Support programmes in reviewing and editing communication material according to established guidelines..
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 2+ years in journalism, communications or copywriting for an advertising agency, corporate communications department or news agency.
