Responsibilities & Context:
∎ BRAC Health Programme has been providing primary health care services for more than three decades across the country to save lives and improve the wellbeing of the population. BRAC works in a people-centered approach across rural and urban areas of the country with the aim to ensure services are available and accessible to every individual.
∎ Ensure quality assurance of program activities & approaches and performance through regular monitoring and supervision through frequent field visits.
∎ Liaise with other projects of BRAC Health Program to ensure the smooth implementation of the projects.
∎ Mentor the staff (Area Manager, Program Organizer & Field Organizer) to implement the project activities and improve the performance.
∎ Provide team members training on eye care aspects.
∎ Prepare periodic reports and other necessary documents for management, and partners as and when required.
∎ Assure field-level distribution of reading glasses through efficient supply chain management.
∎ Analyze data to identify critical implementation and risk mitigation challenges.
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
