Qualifications and education requirements :

• Bachelor Of Science (B.Sc.) In Mechanical Engineering, Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE).

• Chemical Engineering, Rubber Technology, Or Related Engineering Discipline From A Recognized University.

Experience:

• The applicants should have 10 years of experience in Production Operations within the Tyre, Tube, Rubber, Polymer, or Manufacturing Industry.

• Hands-on experience in compound mixing, extrusion, curing, tube manufacturing processes, production planning, quality control, and manpower management.

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, production reporting, data analysis, and presentation preparation.

• Prepare and implement monthly production plans for all Tube Production sections, ensuring achievement of production targets from compound mixing to finished tube packaging.

• Monitor daily production activities and coordinate with section supervisors to ensure smooth production flow and optimum resource utilization.

• Supervise compound mixing processes and review laboratory test results to ensure compliance with quality standards and product specifications.

• Monitor finished product quality and coordinate with the Quality Assurance team to maintain required quality standards.

• Prepare and circulate daily production reports to management and other concerned departments.

• Develop weekly and monthly production and quality review presentations using production and operational data.

• Analyze production, quality, wastage, and efficiency data to identify improvement opportunities and support decision-making.

• Collaborate with the Plant Head and cross-functional teams to resolve technical, operational, and process-related issues on the production floor.

• Investigate customer complaints and analyze returned products to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

• Collect and analyze machine efficiency, utilization, downtime, and productivity data; prepare reports for management review.

• Maintain production records, operational registers, and Excel-based databases for all Tube Production sections.

• Ensure accurate recording and reporting of daily production data, quality metrics, and operational KPIs.

• Monitor manpower deployment, attendance, overtime, and workforce productivity across all production sections.

• Coordinate recruitment requisitions and manpower planning to ensure adequate staffing for production operations.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, quality standards, and manufacturing best practices.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
