Responsibilities & Context:
∎ carry out incoming inspections on products and materials,
∎ test the characteristics of textile products as well as the possibilities for their further processing and suitable areas of use
∎ carry out tests of textile products, colorants, chemicals and other textile auxiliaries as well as examinations of water and sewage
∎ elaborate formulations
∎ analyses the composition and the effect of chemical products
∎ test and improve existing products and processes,
∎ cooperate in the development and testing of new products,
∎ evaluate and interpret results,
∎ draw up test reports and certificates,
∎ monitor production processes
∎ process queries and complaints
∎ maintain and inspect the test equipment and laboratory facilities
∎ carry out quality assurance measures,
∎ apply work and test procedures, taking into account the relevant standards,
∎ •As Departmental head to supervise following lab operations by ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards:

∎ .•Ensure all dyes, Chemicals & dyed/processed material meet company and industry quality standards through regular inspections and testing. Implement quality control procedures to minimize defects and rework.
∎ •Develop and implement laboratory policies, procedures, and protocols to enhance operational effectiveness.
∎ •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research initiatives and drive project success.
∎ •Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as industry guidelines.
∎ •Monitor laboratory budgets and manage resource allocation effectively.
∎ •Lead troubleshooting efforts for technical issues related to lab equipment or processes.
∎ •Foster an innovative laboratory culture by encouraging creative problem-solving and teamwork.
∎ •Work closely with design, production, marketing, and sales teams.
∎ •Assist in leading new fabric development using innovative materials and techniques.
∎ •Conduct market research to understand customer needs and market demands.
∎ •Collaborate with designers to develop prototypes and samples.
∎ •Perform testing and evaluations to ensure product safety and performance.
∎ •Ensure all dyed materials meet company and industry quality standards through regular inspections and testing. Implement quality control procedures to minimize defects and rework.
∎ • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve consistency.
∎ •Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in the lab. Conduct training sessions on safety procedures and proper handling of dyes and chemicals.
∎ •Maintain accurate records of dye recipes, batch production, and quality control metrics. Prepare reports for management on dyeing performance, issues, and improvement initiatives
